Reviews on how Net media can work for you.

Is Technology a Burden or Benefit?

The more pervasive technology becomes, the more controversial it also becomes. There are those who believe that technology is affecting society in a negative way. They believe that our current reliance on technology limits the interactions we have face to face, and therefore isolates us. They also argue that technology is distancing us from our humanity: that as we create more machines and develop more technological advances, that we are ourselves becoming closer to machines.

There are others who say that technology is a benefit to our society. Our current economic system is founded on technology. And it is impossible to mention the virtues of technology without mentioning the advances made in medicine.

But even the simplest of technology such as a printer using brother ink cartridges is a convenience to our daily lives. All technology around us is there for our convenience.

But we must also consider the pollution that is created by all the technology that we are so reliant on. There has been a move in recent years to limit the carbon dioxide emissions given off by cars and factories.

As with most things, technology comes with its benefits and its drawbacks. With the convenience and advancement it offers, it also brings pollution and the dangers of advancements that may lead us further away from our humanity towards the unknown.
